3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit this website, Vercel automatically collects and stores information in server log files (including IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed, browser type, operating system and referrer URL). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Where personal data is transferred to the United States, the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Vercel's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The domain of this website is registered with IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, which acts solely as the domain registrar and does not process visitor data of this website.

4. Contact (forms and email)

When you contact us by email or through a contact form, the information you provide (e.g. name, institution, email address, content of the enquiry) is stored for the purpose of processing and any follow-up correspondence (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We will not share this data without your consent. Data is deleted once the purpose of collection has been fulfilled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

After submitting a contact form, you will receive an automatic confirmation email to acknowledge receipt of your enquiry.

Congress mailing list (DGBNCT Congress 2027)
If you register for updates about the DGBNCT Congress 2027, your title (optional), name, organisation (optional) and email address are processed and added to the congress mailing list with your consent. The sole purpose is to inform you about the DGBNCT Congress 2027, including registration, tickets and the programme. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying to any of our emails, via the unsubscribe link included in every email or by writing to info@bnctglobal.com. The time of sign-up and the consent text version are logged as proof of consent.

Transactional emails (confirmation emails) and the congress mailing list are managed by Resend Inc., 548 Market St., PMB 42326, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Resend in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Where personal data is transferred to the United States, the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking, advertising or third-party analytics cookies. No cookies are set on your first visit or during regular browsing. Should a functional cookie (e.g. for language preference) be introduced in the future, it will only be set upon your active interaction and will be strictly necessary for the requested function (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and the strictly necessary exemption under the EU ePrivacy rules). A cookie consent banner is therefore not required.

For anonymous usage statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service provided by Vercel Inc. It collects aggregated, pseudonymous page-view data (pages visited, referrer, country, device type) without setting cookies, without storing IP addresses, and without enabling cross-device or cross-site tracking. No personal data is processed beyond what is technically necessary to count a page view. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how this website is used (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data is processed by Vercel under the same data processing agreement referenced in Section 3 above.

6. Fonts

All fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our own server. No connection to third-party font services (e.g. Google Fonts) takes place.
